The ICF are extremely excited to announce, that the Charity Commission of England and Wales has approved our application to become a registered charity.
The ICF, previously a Charitable Incorporated Company (C.I.C) have now been converted into a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and are registered as such with the Charity Commission. Our registered charity number is 1191244 and we received our charity status on Friday 11th September 2020.
Becoming a charity opens many doors for us, including having access to a lot more financial support from charitable grant organisations and the general public. This means that we will be able to go further in terms of what we can offer to our Cadets and our community.
We now have a lot of work to do to obtain the financial support we need, but I am sure that you will agree that this news is very welcome and that our future looks to be a bright one.
